The Athens Local Professional Artists and Craftsmen Association (A.L.P.A.C.A.) will feature locally made art and crafts during its third annual Holiday Shop, Dec. 11 and 12 at the Athens Community Center. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5p.m. Sunday.
More than 20 local vendors will sell items such as jewelry, ceramics, glasswork, handmade clothing, baskets, fine art and children's goods. Vendors include:

The event is free and open to the public. The Athens Community Center is located at 701 E. State St.Athens, Ohio. The Athens Local Professional Artists and Craftsmen Association formed in 2008 to support and promote artists and craftsmen in Athens County and the surrounding region. The group sponsors various local exhibits, shows and special events throughout the year, and provides business information and networking for area craftsmen.
